Artist/ Art instructor Brooke SPerry...
Originally from the Midwest, Brooke lived in Las Vegas for 12 years before relocating to Omaha, NE, where she happily resides.
"Art, especially painting, has always held a special passion for me, truly it has been such a blessing in my life, that I want to pay it forward so that it can be a blessing to others as well."
Brooke has been painting for 17 years, ever since picking up a paintbrush in high school, she has been addicted. Working with oils, acrylics, and watercolor, she has recently combined her love of different materials by exploring the vast world of mixed media art. She has mastered a variety of mediums and wants to share with students, often joking that it makes her a terrible artist because she shares all of her hard earned secrets with everyone else!
Having taught art for the last 4 years, Brooke approaches teaching with patience and love, bringing out the potential of each student in a way that is comfortable for them, and without pressure. The only thing she loves more than painting is watching other people paint, she works out techniques on her own and breaks them down into simple and easy to follow steps. Building confidence is the number one goal.
"Everyone is born creative, all of us can learn techniques, it is the confidence to try them that is the difficult part".
